However, apart from the "Jul 13, 2003" page found in http://web.archive.org/web/*/tradingvalues.COM all the other pages there will lead to archived pages for tradingvalues.NET, so I''ll mainly quote from archived tradingvalues.NET pages.

# According to "Morten" in this 'thespinfactor' thread, there is also a company "Trading Values LTD" wich was registered on the 07th of July 2003 in the state of Delaware under file number 3673344 (thanks Morten for this info).

The Market Place
The first possibility is a big market place where you can find all kind of products and services at a fixed price.

The second possibility is to sell and buy things through a huge auction, which is exactly the same as a normal auction.....you are just trading on the Internet.

The Mall

Dubli's shipping costs

In a Dubli thread on scam.com there was this question/post about Dubli:

"Can anyone tell me if its unsafe to purchase anything off this site? Is there any customers out there who dont get there products or are they different from what was advertisded.

It seems really cheap to buy stuff off just want to hear from anyone who didnt recieve what they ordered.
Thanks"

Hi,
regarding "it seems really cheap to buy stuff off":

"really cheap" is a relative term and depends on where you live and on which Dubli site you buy (the US or EU site).

For their Xpress and Unique Bid "fun" auction items, first you'll have to buy credits (unless you'll get a few for free from BA's, to hopefully lure you into the credit-buying process afterwards) and use them to make a bid.

Credits cost US$0.80 or Eur0.50 and will lower the price in the Xpress auctions by US$0.25 or Eur0.20 repectively.

For the "fun" auctions, shipping costs are 'reasonable' if you live in the US or Canada and buy on the US site, or 'reasonable' to fairly high if you live in Germany and buy on the EU site.

For the "fun" auctions, shipping costs are high if you live in Australia or New Zealand and a rip-off if you live in Mexico, and buy on the US site.
Shipping costs are also a rip-off if you live outside of Germany, and buy on the EU site.

Examples
Last time I looked,
Shipping costs for something as small as a giftcard, or CD/DVD, are US$ 12.30 to Australia and US$ 67.95 to Mexico on the US site.
(US$5.95 for US residents)

On the EU site this will cost you Eur 6.95 if you live in Germany, up to Eur 17.95 if you live in the UK, up to Eur 30.95 if you live in Greece, up to Eur 69.95 if you live in the Russian Federation.

Shipping costs for something heavier/bulkier like a 22" LCD TV are US$ 85.66 to Australia and US$ 111.95 to Mexico.
(US$17.95 for US residents)

A 32" LCD TV will cost you even more in shipping fee, if you live in Mexico: US$ 209.95.
(US$15.95 for US residents)

On the EU site shipping costs for a 32" TV will cost you 'only' Eur 79.95 if you live in Germany, up to Eur 151.95 (France), up to Eur 225.95 (UK), up to Eur 305.95 if you happpen to live in Greece and try to grab a "bargain" at Dubli EU.

Of course you also can buy in the Dubli-US "Shopping Portal" but this is nothing more than a regular BSP Rewards Network portal like there are dozens to be found run by other companies/organisations/sites than Dubli, and offering the same rewards/savings/deals through the merchants advertising on those BSP Reward portals.

The Dubli-EU site doesn't even have a 'shopping portal' anymore (since some months already, I've never seen any explanation from Dubli-corporate why they closed it down) so there you're stuck with the 2 types of "fun" auctions, with rip-off shipping costs for anyone outside Germany.

As for receiving the goods you may have bought on/through Dubli, I don't have experience with that, maybe someone else has.

Goods bought in the US "shopping portal" would be handled by the actual brand/store/company you bought an item from, and would not be shipped by Dubli itself.

All "fun" auction items (and their shipping costs) are handled either by the Dubli US or Dubli EU logistic centre.

Hope this helps.

P.S. you can see the various shipping costs by clicking/viewing an auction (on the Dubli US or EU site), look for the "Shipping costs: x points", click the "x points" link and chose you country in the drop-down menu that will be presented to you.
