Will this post cost me US$ 100,000?
Wow, have a look at http://www.dublibusinessinfo.com.
This Dubli Business Associate has a funny idea of "fun shopping" and doing a bit of "money-saving" through Dubli:
according to his Terms of Use it will cost me at least US$ 100,000.000 for mentioning and linking-to his Dubli Business Info website:
----------------------------------------
HYPERLINKING TO SITE, CO-BRANDING, "FRAMING" AND REFERENCING SITE PROHIBITED
Unless expressly authorized by website, no one may hyperlink this site, or portions thereof, (including, but not limited to, logotypes, trademarks, branding or copyrighted material) to theirs for any reason. Further, you are not allowed to reference the url (website address) of this website in any commercial or non-commercial media without express permission, nor are you allowed to 'frame' the site. You specifically agree to cooperate with the Website to remove or de-activate any such activities and be liable for all damages. You hereby agree to liquidated damages of US$100,000.00 plus costs and actual damages for violating this provision.
----------------------------------------
For the record, my dear friendly Dubli Business Associate: I do not agree with these phony restrictive "Terms of Use". You put your Dubli-website on the public www for the whole world to see and to lure in paying customers/BA's for your financial benefit. If you're feeling unhappy to be in ''public view'', just go offline and be happy again.
Furthermore it seems we can not even trust all the links leading to official Dubli sites and downloadable official Dubli propaganda. Visiting the official Dubli sites through the links provided on dublibusinessinfo.com could give our computers viruses and worms???

Dear Dubli Business Associate, do you really want me to pay you now at least a hundred grand because I mentioned your Dubli-Business-Info site?
Is this Dubli's idea of "FUN shopping", "saving vast amounts of money" or profiting from some "amazing business opportunities?
Do you really think your Terms of Use and Disclaimers give the world a good and trustworthy impression of yourself, as a Dubli representative, or more importantly, of Dubli as THE "business opportunity" for the 21st century?
In case you (or Dubli) have any problems with this blog-post: my legal team is waiting to hear from you.

Dubli's exaggeration - 2.3 mil vs 100k
I have found an informative page, probably dating back to the 2nd half of 2007,
from an enthousiastic Dubli "Certified Partner":
http://webshops.globalexpans.com
Scroll down the page to a little under the 'framed-in' DubliNetwork page (apparently this used to be the original 2007 Dubli "Shopping Mall" page - but that part of Dubli's original e-commerce model has been abandoned long since), and you'll read:
-----------------------------------------------
It is a portal you can be proud of being a part of.
You are looking at the very front edge of e-commerce, now and in the future, we are only in the beginning of the evolution,
...and the concept is just BRILLIANT !!
So far a 100.000+ registered customers think so, also more than 3000+ DubLishop owners think so and I am sure you will come to share their opinion.
(These official numbers are from early summer 2007)
-----------------------------------------------
So there we have it, official numbers from early summer 2007, that's about 8 to 9 months after the most referred-to "official" launch of Dubli in a limited number of European countries in October 2006.
100,000+ registered customers is completely different from Dubli's present claim of:
"DubLi.com’s select test market in Europe saw 2.3 million customers come in just eight months."
To see how well-informed the Certified Partner of Dubli behind the 100,000+ info is, visit the home-site of this Certfied Dubli Partner:
http://www.globalexpans.com
At the bottom of that home-page you'll see a reference (with some photos) to Dubli's mysterious 2005 China launch (now apparently purged from official Dubli history), so obviously this Dubli Certified Partner did have access to reliable inside-information.
Ironically, this original and official 100,000 figure for Europe is now also referred to in a FAQ page of
"the DubLiEagles - America's International Team"
("Licenced Independent Representative"),
where it's used in yet another spin, trying to impress and entice potential new Cash Cows Business Associates when comparing it with claimed figures for US registered customers:
-----------------------------------------------
How is DubLi doing in the United States?
http://dublieagles.com/qa2.html
Since its US launch on October 4th, 2008, DubLi US has far exceeded the growth of its European counterpart. In fact, DubLi US had 100,000 registered customers by November 15th, little over a month after launch.
In comparison, it took Europe six months to achieve the same goal.
-----------------------------------------------

Question: Are the presently claimed "2.3 million customers" for Europe in 2006/2007 another example of Dubli's exaggeration, confusion, or dare I even say: lies?
